I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and grew up on a smallholding in Constantia. I rode horses competitively and learned the art of floristry in my grandmother's business, Forget-Me-Nots Floristry, a school of Floral Design. My work is well recognized for its strong botanical understanding with an impressionistic flair. My pieces often blend elements of fantasy with reality, characterized by vibrant color, light, movement, and life.
